my girl’s father who’s 73 was confronted by a stick up kid at an atm. the kid had his gun out and her dad went for it and fought the dude off. the mayor’s wife (mayor coleman) was in her car and witnessed the incident. she ended up calling the police and giving a statement (props btw). my girl’s dad was pissed at himself for not bringing his regular knife and/or his pistol. dude is ex-airforce so his response wasn’t too shocking. he came out of it with his money and his life. i told him that it was probably better that he wasn’t armed. at first he was confused…like what do you mean it would’ve been better?..i told him that it probably would’ve made the kid nervous enough to shoot and even if he(Dad) had  beaten the kid to the draw..he undoubtedly would’ve ended up dealing with issue of legality(ie no permit to carry etc.)…crazy.
